Orb

Orb is a 1.5m diameter sculpture made from 240m of hand-formed aluminum, inspired by the shadow cast by a railway spring clip. Years of experimentation led from a rough steel prototype to this refined, immersive piece. As light passes through, Orb transforms, casting complex shadows and rotating gently in the breeze. Originally a pendant light, it evolved into a large-scale sculpture that responds to light, movement, and space, offering a dynamic experience shaped by curiosity, persistence, and material exploration.
